Administration

Mrs. Molly Lavin has been in education for more than 22 years, and most recently has served as the principal of South Forsyth Middle School.  Previously, she served as an Assistant Principal at West Forsyth High School and Woodland High School in Henry County.  Mrs. Lavin has also served as a teacher in Georgia, Indiana, and Michigan.    She holds an EdS from Lincoln Memorial University, a Masters from Walden University, and a BA from Western Michigan University. 

Mrs. Lavin enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and traveling. 

Mrs. Aimee Brooks is in her 24th year in education and is excited to be part of the Little Mill Middle School administrative team.  Mrs. Brooks moved to Little Mill in 2015 and served for three years as an 8th grade math teacher.  In 2018, she taught 6th grade science.  In 2019, Mrs. Brooks became the Graduation Coach and served in that position for three years. 

Mrs. Brooks earned her Bachelors of Science in middle grades math and science from the University of North Georgia, her Master’s Degree in middle grades math education from Piedmont College, and her Specialist’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College as well.  Additionally, she earned certification in Educational Leadership from Piedmont College, and she is endorsed as an Instructional Coach.

In her free time, Mrs. Brooks enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Mrs. Brooks and her husband Mike have two daughters (Emily and Kaitlyn), two dogs (Cairo and Minnie), and one cat (Marshmallow).

Mrs. Amber Lee is in her 18th year of education and is excited for another year supporting the Little Mill community. Dr. Lee has served as a classroom teacher, Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal during her tenure with Forsyth County Schools. As a Cumming, Georgia native, she graduated from Forsyth County Schools before attending Young Harris College. She finished her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Georgia, and she is a proud member of the Bulldog Nation! She later received a Master's Degree from the University of North Georgia, an Educational Specialist Degree from Piedmont College and an Educational Doctorate from Kennesaw State University. Dr. Lee strongly believes in the power of building relationships with students, engaging students in meaningful educational experiences, and helping students to build strong character.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband, Wes, son, Hudson, and their Boston Terrier, Fancy. She loves to travel and experience new places! She also loves to bake and read. She looks forward to an amazing school year with the Little Mill community!

Ms. Kristin Hall is excited to join the Little Mill Middle School family as an Assistant Principal. With 13 years of experience in education, she is passionate about creating a school where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged each day. She believes students do their best when they know they are valued, supported, and held to high expectations.

Ms. Hall earned both her bachelor's and master's Degrees from the University of West Georgia and her Educational Specialist Degree from Georgia Southern University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Georgia. She is committed to partnering with students, families, and staff to create a positive school community where every student has the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and personally.

In her free time, Ms. Hall enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her ever-growing collection of plants. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with the Little Mill community and is excited for a wonderful school year!

Mr. Justin Hinson is excited to join Little Mill Middle School as an Assistant Administrator. Before joining the Little Mill admin team, he taught middle school special education. Justin is passionate about building strong relationships, fostering a positive school culture, and creating an environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and valued.

Justin earned his bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University and his master's degree from Georgia Southern University. He is also completing his Educational Specialist degree at Kennesaw State University.

Outside of school, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, Caroline, their two sons, Owen and Beau, their certified therapy dog, Gidget, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. He looks forward to partnering with the Little Mill community to make this a successful and memorable school year for all students.
